Juliana Torres is originally from Salta, Argentina, and holds a Bachelors Degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. She is excited to join St. Rose of Lima Catholic School as the Spanish teacher and share her language and culture with her students.

Before moving to Houston in 2015, Juliana taught English as a foreign language in Argentina for nearly ten years. She then spent seven years teaching as a bilingual elementary educator in Houston.

Juliana is married and has a daughter. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, and being outdoors.

As both a language teacher and a language learner, Juliana understands the challenges of learning a new language. She enjoys creating a supportive classroom where students feel comfortable participating, building confidence, and developing a love for Spanish.
