PRE KINDERGARTEN 3

Our Pre-Kindergarten 3 program is a world of play and Christian lessons where each child is encouraged to try new things and have new experiences. PK 3 students have exciting opportunities to develop new social skills, cultivate fine and gross motor skills, sorting and classifying, eye-hand coordination, expand self-awareness, build self-esteem and learn personal responsibility. A focus on oral language development, early literacy skills, and encouraging a love of reading and books are all major components of our language arts program. Students will experience a learning through play approach by participating in free play, thematic play, story time, dramatic play, arts and crafts, music, science exploration, and hands-on learning games.

KINDERGARTEN

Our Kindergarten program utilizes a kindergarten student’s active and enthusiastic learning style. It is a year of tremendous growth academically and developmentally. Kindergarten is the last year of “school readiness” hence it contains skills like completing homework, turning in completed work, keeping track of personal materials, writing as a form of personal expression, working in a group towards a common goal, working independently and many other skills to lay the groundwork for future academic success.
