    Mrs. Lopez is the Instructional Specialist at St. Rose of Lima Catholic School, where she supports teachers through instructional coaching, professional learning, curriculum implementation, data-driven instruction, and academic intervention. She is committed to fostering a faith-filled learning environment rooted in academic excellence, growth, and student success. She values strong partnerships with faculty, families, and the school community and believes collaboration is essential to helping teachers and students thrive.

    Mrs. Lopez earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science with a minor in Psychology from the University of Houston. Following her undergraduate studies, she completed additional coursework to earn her teaching certification in Elementary through 8th Grade English Language Arts. She later earned a master’s degree in educational leadership from the American College of Education.

    Throughout her 30-year career in education, she has served as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, dyslexia specialist, instructional specialist, and district curriculum and instruction coach. Her experience includes mentoring teachers, facilitating professional learning, analyzing student data, and supporting curriculum development and instructional improvement.

    Mrs. Lopez is grateful for the opportunity to support the mission of Catholic education by helping students and teachers grow academically, socially, and spiritually. Mrs. Lopez is married and the proud mother of three children, two sons and one daughter. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, baking, traveling, going to the movies, and spending time with family and friends.
