Emily Lancaster is thrilled to be transitioning to the Middle School ELA Team after joining St. Rose of Lima Catholic School as a fourth-grade teacher in 2023. A native Houstonian and as a product of Catholic education, she attended St. Edward Catholic School, Seton Catholic Jr. High, and St. Pius X High School. Mrs. Lancaster earned her B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Houston. She has taught in both public and Catholic schools, and this will be her sixteenth year in the classroom. Nothing brings her greater joy than fostering the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth of her students.

In her spare time, she enjoys reading, swimming, crafting, and spending time with her husband and son. Mrs. Lancaster’s son will be a third grader at SRL this year. Go, Cardinals!
