School Nurse

Alissa Amalfi is the school nurse at St. Rose of Lima Catholic School. She is an advocate for children’s health and well-being and believes that a child’s health plays a direct role in their ability to learn and focus while at school.

Nurse Amalfi earned her nursing degree from Southwest Baptist University and St. Johns School of Nursing in Missouri. Prior to joining the staff at St. Rose, she worked at Methodist Hospital in the Texas Medical Center for 12 years. Before that she worked in Springfield, Missouri in the Neuro ICU for 2 years before moving to Houston. She is thankful to be on campus every day with her four children (one a Cardinal Alum!) and feels blessed to be able to serve the school community.
