Greetings, fellow alumni,

I hope this letter finds you well, with your calendars marked for October 3, 2009---the date of our St. Rose of Lima School Grand Reunion.  It’s going to be a great night with the opportunity to connect with old friends, share fond memories and celebrate our school.  Each of us has undoubtedly been affected by our education, during our formative years at St. Rose of Lima.  This reunion offers us the opportunity to remember, reminisce and, perhaps even, repay.

Coincident with our Grand Reunion, we are initiating the Saint Rose of Lima School Annual Fund.  It’s an opportunity to demonstrate your gratitude and support with a gift that will help ensure the viability of an outstanding school.  The demographics of St. Rose have likely changed since you and I graduated.  Tuition, as well as the number of students receiving tuition assistance has significantly increased. To sustain this fine institution in a time of economic uncertainty and increased financial difficulty, our help is needed-NOW.

Many of us have likely made investments which have not paid off very well.  I’m making an investment that has a guaranteed return greater than any that I could hope to achieve in a stock or commodity market.  I’m investing in the future of our young leaders, the students of St. Rose of Lima.  I am respectfully requesting that you do the same.  With the support of all of you, we are hoping to raise much needed funds to ensure that St. Rose remains a center of excellence and a beacon of light for eager young minds.

We are extremely grateful for your donation in any amount.  Additionally, your donation can be doubled as an anonymous donor has agreed to match all donations, up to a total of $10,000. We are also implementing our Founder’s Circle, recognition reserved for those donors contributing a minimum of $1,000.  I welcome you to join me as part of this group, should you be willing able to make this sacrifice.
